Defense of the the Dead (student game)

Defense of the Dead is a tower defense game made by Miguel, Mike, and Connor. The game was made using a game design program called Stencyl. The Stencly engine allowed us to define the logic and the level of the game in a simple, and streamlined way. First we needed to create actors that would follow a path to the "home base" during which they will be bombarded by towers created by the player. The next step was to create different towers that would shoot at the enemies the passed within their range. After that all that was left was to add a health system and the game is complete. Before we started working on the game, we went through a couple game ideas that we decided to scrap. One was a game similar in style of the binding of Isaac, and the other was an innovation of the once popular game "fishy".
